Trump Speaks - Too Little To Late?

It's good that Trump made this speech to the country and for his base to know that violence is unacceptable.  He did not apologize for what he did and said at that Jan. 6th rally but this is good to calm people down.

Sunday Sermon at Union Cathedral Bishop McCrae -"It Didn't Break Me"

I thank God for Technology.  I am from South Georgia but now live in Richmond, Virginia and the church I attended does live stream of the Sunday Service and Bible Study on Wednesday.  Our pastor is Bishop Wade McCrae.  Today he preached a sermon called, "It Didn't Break Me".  In it King Nebuchadnezzar demands that 3 Hebrews bow down to his god an engraven image.  Meshach, Shadrack, and Abednego did not bow and were thrown into the fire where they were not consumed.  God protected them and Jesus walked in the fire with them. This example of God's love and mercy is something we can see in our lives.  Many times when I was lead astray I thought if only I would have stuck to the Bible teachings.  God is love and he wants us to love others as we would love ourselves.  Bishop McCrae preached The Problem they encountered and Their Purpose was exposed.  He said that people would insinuate things about you Christians.  We don't have to worry about the negative things that

Black Lives Matter has come into its own

A few years back when the Black Lives Matter movement came about during the Trayvon shooting, and Fergueson and etc I don't think it was embraced as it is now.  I think White America felt hesitant to embrace it because I think they felt "left out" or excluded in the protests somehow.  You would hear the phrase All Lives Matter.  Hillary Clinton used it during one of the debates. Eric Garner died uttering the phrase, "I can't breathe."  When the officer had a choke hold on him for selling loosies (individual cigarettes).  This was definitely a case of excessive force Fast forward to now with George Floyd died saying I can't breathe when a White officer pressed his knee into Floyd's neck for eight minutes.  That awoke everyone, well almost.  This case went world wide even during a pandemic.  People of all colors risked their lives protesting.  Those Black Lives Matter signs were everywhere as well as "I can't breathe."  Even in Europe. First Pitch by Dr. Fauci - Yankees vs Nationals tonight on ESPN at 7pm EST

Dr. Fauci one of America's leading doctors concerning an infectious disease Covid-19, is throwing the first pitch in tonight's MLB game: The New York Yankees vs. The Washington Nationals in Washington DC.  A lot of people have been talking about this and how it will go over since it will be played with no fans. Today is opening day and we will see. No slight to Dr. Fauci, but I wonder with the protests and Black Lives Matter would major league baseball ever let one of their founders throw out the pitch or someone like Derrick Johnson president of the NAACP?  Has Jesse Jackson ever thrown out a first pitch?  Just curious.  I did some research and the answer is yes.  Jesse Jackson threw out the first pitch on April 6, 2013 between the Chicago Cubs vs. Texas Rangers.  Rep. John Lewis who recently passed away threw it at Washington Nationals game back in April 2018. I caught the first pitch and Dr. Fauci threw it to the far right of the catcher.  No biggie we know why he was there
